Westlake is quickly becoming our family on the road. Out of all of the people we visit, eat with, talk with, etc, we by far spend the most time with the Westlake Interactive folks.
In any case, there is a ton of Westlake news recently. In some cases, it seems as if they're porting almost ALL of the Macintosh games these days. MacSoft has contracted the porting house to take care of Unreal Tournament, Total Annihilation, and Civilization: Call to Power. The former two are on a very smooth track to completion and are entering (or have already entered) the beta stages of development. Call to Power is somewhat behind the others, but is also on a very smooth and stable track.
Westlake has also signed contracts to provide ports of Madden 2000, Tomb Raider III, and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri for the Austin-based Aspyr Media. The company has also agreed to port Deer Avenger II for Simon & Schuster Interactive Publishing.
